YOKU's R&D teams are drawn from the most highly talented people in the lithium-ion polymer battery industry. To date we have developed more than 1000 types of battery products for small, medium and large scale projects, batteries with capacities ranging from 100mAh to 10,000mAh, standard battery products, high temperature series products, and high discharge rate products.We continue to develop new products to meet the varied customer requirements and changing application needs yet simultaneously the performance of safety, energy density, temperature characteristics, discharge platform, impedance and cycle life are part of a continuous improvement process.
YOKU owns the intellectual property for and invented the manufacturing process of the lithium-ion polymer battery products. Our technology of lithium-ion polymer battery design is that of a stacking type. Multi-layers of electrode slices are connected in parallel after being pressed within the cell. This technology requires less equipment space and there are no acute electrode turning angles in the cell making it easy to manufacture. Consequently with this technology the final pass rate surpasses 95%. Patent applications have been made and are pending for this technology.Through YOKU's continuous investment in R&D the Company has been able to provide better lithium-ion polymer battery products in comparison to others in the industry when considering large capacity of a single cell, high discharge rate and high safety. Continuing developments are producing opportunities in new application areas, for example, YOKU has recently developed a new series of battery products that can be operated at temperatures in excess of 80??? making them suitable for military telecommunication applications.
